Read & study the scripture that makes your belly warm as you think to yourself “Oh that’s me!”
Write that scripture on a note card, make a cute Canva image out of it, make it your background on your phone, think about that scripture, what it means…
Study the scriptures around that scripture.
Pray (dialogue between you and God) about what you think about it, how it relates to you, and how that makes you feel.
Repeat for as many days as you would like to commit.
Take mental, physical, and emotional inventory…
Mental:
What have you been thinking lately?
Are you still ruminating on that one thing that usually takes up your headspace and energy?
Do you have the same narrative about yourself or your situation?
Physical:
What is the posture of your shoulders?
Do your palms still sweat?
Are you still grinding your teeth at night?
Do you still bite your nails?
Does your mouth still water when you pass the bar?
Emotional:
How do you feel about you?
How do you feel about your circumstance or concern?
Do you want to continue this journey of freedom & a healthy relationship?
If so, say this prayer out loud: “Lord, I am just getting started & I want to keep this relationship going. Therefore, I submit my will for yours, I receive your Holy Spirit & release my spirit to you. I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord & savior. Father God, I believe you sent your Son here to die for my sins. I believe He rose in 3 days and now sits with you. Please change my desires so I can be the healed, freed, and best version of myself. So I can give you glory with my life.
-in Jesus name, Amen.
