As a black woman, married to a black man, I have noticed how society downplays his thoughts, concerns and voice. The world is so quick to silence & belittle my best friend. The world is quick to force a negative narrative down my husband's throat, they want him to digest it and accept it as a part of his identity; trying to make him disguard his own thoughts, emotions, concerns, morals, values, beliefs, & ultimately, his kingship.
